Useful information on maritime transport
We offer LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) transport in maritime transport. With this type of transport, it is most important to consider the inside dimensions of standard containers:
The inside dimensions of a regular 20’DC are 5900 x 2350 x 2392 mm (doorway 2342 mm and door height 2292 mm)
The inside dimensions of a 40’DC are 12,020 x 2350 x 2392 mm (doorway 2340 mm and door height 2292 mm).
Goods to be transported should always be properly prepared before transport: cargo must be properly packaged and labelled and be in compliance with the maximum measurements prescribed by the transport provider. We will try to find alternative solutions for goods with different measurements.
If export shipments are packaged in wood or use wooden pallets, the wood must be heat treated and comply with the ISPM15 standard.
