Please contact the Sender to clarify return options and procedures for GLS shipments.
If you want to return Parcel connect / Postal parcel shipments, please, follow these procedures:
- If You have received shipment with label Weltpaket or Paket International from DHL, then please turn to local Post Office for return.
- If You have received shipment with label Parcel Connect or Postal Parcel, You can return the shipment if the sender has placed a Return label in the package. If such a Return label is not inserted, please contact the Sender (for, example, Online store Customer service) and ask to send you a Return label by e-mail so that you can print it.
Packaging for return
Please carefully pack your returning goods using additional inner packaging if necessary. The outer packaging must be made of durable and strong material. Please use a quality sealing method, especially if the contents of the package are heavy. Detailed packaging recommendations can be found here
Labeling for return
Please attach the Return label to the outer packaging so that the label is not folded on the corners of the package and that it covers the original label with which the shipment was delivered initially. A properly attached Return label must completely cover the previous label barcode (so that it is no longer visible).
How to return shipment to Sender?
Returns can be made in the following ways:
- By contacting Itella and requesting a shipment pickup from your place of residence (ordering a courier). Please, order a pick-up by writing to the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Itella Customer Service by phone. 67815914 or 29153495 on working days from 8:00 to 18:00 or fill up in the contact form. Please indicate the parcel collection address, your name and contact telephone number.
- By handing over the returned shipment in person at Smartpost Itella parcel point in Green Park (Dzirnieku street 24, Marupe, Marupes district, LV-2167, Latvia). Smartpost Green Park parcel point working hours on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:30.
Please note that when returning the shipment to the courier or handing over at the Smartpost parcel point, the returning goods must be packed and the packaging must have a Return label attached. Itella has the rights not to pick up insufficiently or improperly packaged shipments if they do not meet the requirements for safe transportation.
